Atchung baby!

February 24th
Hoodie (JC Penney), Tank (Old Navy), Jeans (Levi), Shoes (Nike)

I had the opportunity to spend the weekend in the mountains!  Even though I was there for work, it was still nice to get out into the middle of no where, warm myself by the fire and get some good use out of my tennis shoes :-)

February 25th
Hoodie (Gifted from my clone), Shirt (Gap), Jeans (Levi), Shoes (Nike)

I love hoodies, and now that I am almost 30 opportunities to wear them are few and far between.  Obviously, I took full advantage of the casual weekend!

Go Green! The 31 Day Challenge

St. Patrick's Day is my favorite holiday, so every year I wear green the month that surrounds the holiday.  It is fun (and sometimes challenging) to wear all my green clothes for a month without repeating an item of green.

Check out the pedicure I got today!  I'm ready to do some feet flirtin'!

I started the 31 day challenge on Wednesday Feb. 22.

Heels (payless) Pants (Marshalls) tank top (Old Navy) blazer (JCPenney)

I wore this to work on a day that I had to teach.  I have to tell you that I adore these pants.  They look like jeans but they are pants!  Also they are silver pin stripe which just makes it even better!

On Thursday Feb. 23 I had an important meeting after work so I needed something appropriate and comfy since my work day would not end until about 8:30 p.m.

Boots (Shoe Carnival-children's department :-)) skirt (Old Navy) shirt (American Eagle) Belt (Stein Mart) purse (Ross) Jacket (New York & Company)

Finally, I would like to give a shout out to my readers in Turkey!  I miss you all!

Welcome to my wardrobe!

Hi!  I'm Abbie!  It is great to see you :-).
After months of enjoying all the other style blogs out there (I ridiculously follow 86 on a regular basis). I thought it could be fun to start my own.

A couple of things that I need to let you know from the get go.
A). I don't have a super fancy camera, nor am I super amazing at photo editing, so what you see is what you get.
B). I am by no means photogenic...actually I like to consider myself the opposite of photgenic.  However, if you know of a modeling agency that has that deer in headlights/staring off into space look.  I'm your girl!
C). I do not consider myself a fashionista.  I am just in a love affair with color, patterns, texture and shine (oh and obviously What Not to Wear :-)).  Basically, I'm just a girl who loves to get dressed every morning, and I thought I would share the highlight of my days with you!!!

So let's dive in to the splashes of fun!!!!!

Dress (Forever 21) Purse (JCPenney) Necklace and Earrings (Brighton)

I wore this outfit to celebrate Valentine's Day with my husband of four years.  We went to a murder mystery dinner theatre.  It was super fun!  I also wore this to a funeral that I had to go to earlier in the day.  See, two other things you should know about me.

1). I am a minister.  I hope that does not scare you off
2). Because I despise laundry I have a little rule that I will not wear more than one outfit a day.  Sometimes I make an exception on Sunday.

Anyways, this may not have been the most appropriate dress to wear to a funeral, but I guarantee you no one will gossip about how they did not see me there!
